With only a single command you can install Linux native games.
When you purchase a Linux native game on GOG it will give you a download link for a large file that is a dot SH file extension.

When this file is downloaded, what I like to do is right click and select the “open terminal here” option (This option is available in Linux Kubuntu).

This will open up a terminal session in the exact directory you need.
You then need to type the command sh then one space then the name of the .sh file. In this example I have selected Flatout 2, a wonderful game by the way, and yes you can press the tab key to complete the name

then simply press enter and the launcher will begin.

From here you simply follow the prompts and wait for it to finish. It will then ask you if you want to create desktop icons. As a bonus, if you have also purchased the game on steam it should automatically find your save files from the Steam version which is a nice touch.
And just so you know you, can copy that same downloaded .sh file and install it on any computer you want which is a great feature.
